03 / CARE GUIDE

Simple habits. Better longevity.

01

Clean daily

Use a soft cloth or non-abrasive sponge with warm water and a small amount of mild, pH-neutral dishwashing liquid. Rinse and wipe dry.

02

Act on spills

Wipe spills promptly, especially tea, coffee, oil, turmeric, food colour, cosmetics and strongly pigmented liquids. Do not allow residue to dry on the surface.

03

Protect from heat

Always use a trivet or insulated heat pad under hot cookware and heat-generating appliances. Never place a hot pan directly on quartz.

04

Protect from impact

Use a chopping board. Avoid dropping heavy objects, striking edges and loading unsupported overhangs. Do not sit, stand or climb on the countertop.

Recommended

  • Soft microfibre cloth
  • Mild pH-neutral cleaner
  • Plastic scraper used gently for dried residue
  • Trivet and chopping board for every use

Avoid

  • Abrasive pads, powders or metal scrubbers
  • Strong alkalis, acids, solvents or concentrated bleach
  • Direct flame, extreme heat or rapid temperature change
  • Wax, sealant or polish unless Resurface approves it in writing

For a difficult mark, contact Resurface before using a stronger cleaner. Backlit installations should also be kept away from localised heat and serviced only by qualified professionals.
