SHIPPING AND SITE ACCESS POLICY

Last updated: 8 August 2026

This policy applies to quartz material and related project orders delivered by Resurface within its serviceable Bengaluru pincodes.

SERVICE AREA

Resurface currently provides delivery only to approved serviceable pincodes in Bengaluru. Customers must enter the correct delivery pincode during the product-selection or checkout process.

Acceptance of an order remains subject to address verification, road accessibility, site conditions and the safe movement of the selected slab.

FREE STANDARD ROAD DELIVERY

Free standard road delivery is included for quartz material orders within Resurface’s approved Bengaluru service area.

Standard road delivery means transportation of the ordered material to the nearest safe and legally accessible unloading point at the delivery address.

The following are not included in free standard road delivery unless expressly included in the approved quotation or BOQ:

• Manual shifting beyond the standard unloading point;

• Carrying slabs through stairs, narrow passages or restricted entrances;

• Vertical movement where a suitable lift is unavailable or the slab cannot safely fit inside the lift;

• Crane, hoist or other specialised lifting equipment;

• Additional labour required because of difficult or restricted site access;

• Waiting charges caused by unavailable access, missing permissions or an unprepared site;

• Demolition, debris removal or disposal; and

• Measurement, fabrication or installation for a material-only purchase.

Where additional shifting, labour or equipment is required, the charges will be communicated in advance and charged at actuals after customer approval.

SITE ACCESS INSPECTION

During a Site Audit, where booked, the Resurface expert will inspect:

• Road and vehicle access;

• Unloading conditions;

• Lift availability and dimensions;

• Staircase and passage dimensions;

• Whether the selected slab can be moved safely into the property;

• Building or society restrictions; and

• Whether manual shifting, stair carrying, crane lifting or additional labour may be required.

The Site Audit reduces access-related uncertainty but does not guarantee that conditions will remain unchanged on the delivery date.

For material-only orders placed without a Site Audit, the customer is responsible for providing accurate information about access, lift dimensions, staircase conditions and building restrictions. Additional charges arising from incomplete or inaccurate information may be payable before delivery is completed.

DELIVERY SCHEDULING

The expected delivery date will be communicated after order confirmation, payment verification, stock allocation and, where applicable, final approval of the quotation or BOQ.

Delivery dates are estimates and may be affected by stock availability, transport restrictions, weather, local regulations, building rules, road conditions or other circumstances beyond Resurface’s reasonable control. Resurface will inform the customer if a material delay becomes known.

The customer or an authorised representative must be present at the agreed delivery time to receive and inspect the material.

CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

Before delivery, the customer must:

• Provide a complete and accurate delivery address and contact number;

• Confirm site-access, lift, staircase and unloading conditions;

• Obtain all required building, society, security, parking, lift and entry permissions;

• Ensure the unloading and access areas are safe and unobstructed;

• Inform Resurface about delivery-time restrictions or special handling requirements; and

• Ensure an authorised person is available to receive the order.

FAILED OR REPEATED DELIVERY

If delivery cannot be completed because the customer or authorised representative is unavailable, the address is incorrect, access is denied, required permissions are missing, or site conditions were not disclosed accurately, the order may be returned or rescheduled.

Any reasonable repeat-delivery, waiting, additional labour, shifting or equipment charges will be communicated to the customer before the next attempt.

INSPECTION AND DAMAGE REPORTING

Customers should inspect the material at delivery whenever reasonably possible.

Any visible damage, incorrect material or material difference from the confirmed order should be reported promptly—preferably within 48 hours of delivery—with the order number, photographs or videos and a description of the issue.

The affected material should not be cut, fabricated, installed, moved unnecessarily or disposed of until Resurface has reviewed the claim. Remedies for verified issues will be handled according to the Return, Cancellation and Refund Policy and applicable law.

SITE AUDITS AND SERVICE-ONLY ORDERS

Site Audit bookings and other service-only purchases do not require physical shipping. The scheduled visit details selected during booking apply instead.

CONTACT

For delivery questions, access-condition updates, rescheduling or damage reporting, contact Resurface using the contact details published on this website and provide the relevant order or booking number.

Nothing in this policy limits any right or remedy available to a customer under applicable law.
